Following his track “Roger Milla”, MHD has continued to pay tribute to the world of African football with a new streetwear collection.
The young Parisian rapper, whose father is Guinean and mother is Senegalese, has just become the face of a new line of clothing dreamed up by a collaboration between Puma and Amsterdam-based brand Daily Paper.
Designed for autumn, the two brands have taken inspiration from the legendary, colourful strips used by teams all over African from Ghana to Cameroon and the Ivory Coast.
In a parallel project, Puma – which is an original equipment manufacturer to several African teams – and the Daily Paper have announced plans to finance the creation of a new pitch for Ghana’s Accra Senior Girls School football team. Of course, they’ll also be providing the strips.
The Puma x Daily Paper collection will be available from September 16.
